Bio

“Live simply so others may simply live.” – Mahatma Gandhi

I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship between client and counselor. While I bring professional knowledge and clinical experience, my clients are the experts of their own lives. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that have shaped who they are, with the goal of fostering greater self-awareness and lasting change.

My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and understood—where healing and growth can naturally unfold through connection and curiosity.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spring Arbor University in 2015 and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SAU in 2018. My experience includes providing individual and group therapy in a partial hospitalization setting for children, teens, and adults. Over time, I found that my passion lies in outpatient work with young adults and adults, supporting them through life transitions, emotional healing, and self-discovery.

Additionally, I completed Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) pre-core training with Leslie Auld, LMSW, in August 2025, and continue to integrate these principles into my practice.
