Bio

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” -Fred Rogers

Our experiences throughout life shape us in many ways. I work with individuals to empower them to better understand themselves, and the ways in which they manage life’s hardships, as stress and trauma are often unavoidable experiences of life. I am a trauma-focused mental health therapist, who believes that everyone has their own unique strengths for surviving and thriving through life’s ups and downs.

My approach to therapy is strengths-based and attachment-focused. I value building a therapeutic alliance, and my intention is to have each individual feel heard and supported in our time together. I strive to promote a healing environment using active listening, sensitivity, and non-judgmental compassion for everyone’s unique situation.
