Bio

From a young age, I’ve been passionate about helping others, a commitment that has shaped my personal and professional journey. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe in the power of collaboration in therapy, working together to explore challenges, build resilience, and find meaningful solutions. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I prioritize building a trusting relationship, as I believe that trust is the foundation for meaningful growth and change. Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or seeking to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to working with you to create positive change and support your journey toward a more fulfilling life.

Before working at Therapy Today, I gained valuable experience working at an elementary school alongside the school social worker, where I supported students facing behavioral challenges and provided crisis intervention. During my time at Washburn University, where I earned my Master of Social Work, I worked at an outpatient therapy clinic, delivering services to children, adolescents, and
adults. Additionally, I served as a part-time counselor at a local school, where I facilitated group counseling sessions and taught lessons to enhance students’ social and emotional awareness.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, exploring new places, and listening to podcasts. Growing up in Kansas and Colorado, I’ve always loved summer road trips and skiing in the winter. My faith is the most important aspect of my life, and I value the relationships around me. Having faced unexpected grief in my life, I understand the confusion and heartache that comes with losing someone close.
