“The more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I thrive.” — Elliot Page
It is my goal to create a space where you feel safe to be who you truly are, and to meet you where you are at. The act of loving and accepting yourself can be a struggle, but it is not an impossible task. Using ideas like radical self-love and acceptance, you can learn to love who you are today and use that to inform who and where you want to be tomorrow! I find that the more you are able to appreciate who you truly are, the more joy you will be able to find in the world around you. I strive to be flexible with my approach, and want to make going to therapy feel easy, and even fun!
I have previous experience working in crisis intervention with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Through this work I have gained knowledge in providing a trauma informed and empowering environment. I have also worked with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community and have a bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies.
Seeing live music, and crafting are my favorite forms of self-care. I value creativity and playfulness and use these to inform how I move through the world. I have 3 cats and a fish that I adore with my whole heart.
