Bio

“With the past, I have nothing to do; nor with the future. I live now.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Everyone experiences challenging times or life changes at one point or another. I believe one of the bravest things one can do is begin to understand their own story. I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore personal issues, dilemmas, and concerns in a professional setting. My therapy approach is tailored to each client’s needs and preferences, and I pull from several evidence-based modalities. I am compassionate and supportive but willing to be direct in my guidance. I want to partner with my clients to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and how they interact with the world around them.

I have worked with both adolescents and adults with a focus on anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences. My background in Community Mental Health as an outpatient therapist provided me with the experience to support a wide variety of individual needs. My experience has helped me understand that therapy is not a “one fits all” model. Everyone has their own experiences and interpretations of their situations.
